Transportation
There are several easy options for ground transportation to and from Boulder to Denver's International Airport (DIA). The trip between DIA and Boulder takes about one hour. The bus and shuttle systems are both very reliable, efficient and clean. We don't suggest that you take a taxi since it can be rather expensive.
Traveling from Dia to Boulder
Bus

RTD buses depart from the East side of the Terminal, Level 6 (outside
door #613 on the East Terminal). You should board an RTD SKYRIDE bus
labeled AB (DIA/Boulder via US36). Buses depart DIA from 6:15 a.m. to 11:20 p.m.See website for exact departure times. The one-way fare to Boulder is $11.
Drivers can't make change, so bring the exact amount. The ride to Boulder
takes approximately one and a half hours. The bus makes several stops
along Broadway before arriving at the main bus terminal. You may need
to contact your hotel or a taxi to arrange additional transportation
to your desired location.

Shuttle
The Supershuttle: (303) 444-0808
The Supershuttle vans provide a little more personalized service by
delivering you directly to your desired location. You need to make reservations
with Supershuttle for the day you plan to travel. You must check-in
with Supershuttle counter located on the Baggage Claim/Ground Transportation
Level (Level 5), across from the Hertz Rental counter. Shuttles run
every hour on the hour from 5 a.m. to midnight. and take approximately
one hour and twenty minutes. A one-way fare is $25 with student ID. You can
also visit their website at www.supershuttle.com.
Courtesy Vehicles
If you're staying at a hotel prior to the first day of CU in the Rockies,
you might check to see if they offer a courtesy shuttle from the airport.

Parking
If you are driving to campus with a relative/friend on the first day of CU in the Rockies, be sure to locate the areas on the map which indicate parking closest to the Recreation Center. The large parking garage at 18th and Euclid will have more available spots than the other metered spots along the streets. There is also a large parking garage at the southeast corner of Colorado and Regent Drive. You can purchase a day parking pass for $5 from Parking Services. See below for additional information.
Parking for the Entire Week
If you are bringing a car out to Boulder, you may want to stop by Parking Services located within the Campus Police Building near the Coors Events Center on the corner of Colorado and Regent. To purchase a temporary one-week permit stop by their office from 8 -5 M-F (the office is closed from 12 - 1 on Tuesday). The parking lots for a one week permit are lots #436 and #308 and the cost is $8.25 for the entire week. For further inquiries, call Parking Services Student Permit Info. at (303) 492-7384.
